Framework SEO is run by Ascendily LLC, a company in the United States, registered at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor, Suite 320, New York, NY 10013. Ascendily is the data controller for anything collected through this site. Questions go to kevin@ascendily.com.

• Your name and email address, when you fill in a form on the site.
• Your website domain and what your business sells, so we can build the map.
• Your billing name, country and postcode, when you pay. Stripe handles the card itself.
• The emails you send us, and our replies.
• Usage data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, device and browser, approximate location from your IP address, and session recordings where our analytics tool captures them.

• To build and deliver your topical map and anything else you buy.
• To send receipts, delivery emails and support replies.
• To send marketing email about Framework SEO and Ascendily services. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To measure whether our ads and pages work, and to show ads to people who visited the site.
• To spot fraud, fix bugs and keep the site running.

• Stripe

  Takes your payment. Your card number goes to Stripe directly and never touches our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to how it handles that.

• Resend

  Sends our email: receipts, delivery, support and marketing.

• Vercel

  Hosts the site and processes every request to it, including your IP address in server logs.

• Google Analytics 4

  Counts visits and tracks which pages and buttons lead to a purchase.

• Meta Pixel

  Tells Meta which of its ads brought you here and lets us show ads to people who visited but did not buy.

• PostHog

  Product analytics. May record a replay of your session (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks). Text you type into form fields is masked in the replay.

• Google Analytics 4: visit counts, page flow and conversion tracking.
• Meta Pixel: ad measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram.
• PostHog: product analytics and session replay.
• Stripe: fraud prevention cookies on the checkout.

These are on when you arrive. If you are visiting from the EU, the UK, Switzerland or the EEA you see a notice on your first visit telling you so, with a switch for analytics and a switch for advertising; whatever you choose there is remembered for a year. Everyone else is not shown that notice, and everyone, wherever they are, can change it at any time from Manage cookies in the footer of every page. Turn analytics off and nothing above is stored on your device beyond a session identifier that is gone when you close the tab. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser; the site still works without them.

Your order details and receipt stay for as long as tax law requires us to keep them, which is seven years in the United States. Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Analytics data is kept on the default retention of each tool, and we do not extend it.

• Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we have to keep a record for tax or fraud reasons, such as your receipt.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the email, or by replying and asking.
• If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have further rights under local law, including the right to object to some processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

The site is served over HTTPS. Payments happen inside Stripe, so we never see or store a card number. Your map and your details live in tools protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfect, and if we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

We are in the United States and so are the tools we use, so your data is processed here. If you are in the EU or UK, that is a transfer outside your region, covered by the standard contractual clauses each provider offers.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and email everyone on the list. Buying something or using the site after that means the new version applies.
